Resolute was founded in 2010 by Yoshiyuki Hayashi, the same man who helped spark Japan’s 90s replica denim boom with Denime. With Resolute, Hayashi wanted to capture the spirit of the classic Levi’s 501 especially the iconic 66 cut and turn it into something timeless for everyday wear.
Every pair is made in Japan from start to finish. The denim is woven on vintage looms at Shinya Mills in Okayama, then sewn in Niimi at a factory that once produced Levi’s Japan. With just four core fits, Resolute focuses on getting the essentials right: perfect fit, long-lasting comfort, and denim that only gets better with age.
